How Long Do Lash Clusters Last? How to Get the Full 7 Days

Our clusters are built for up to 7 days of wear. Whether you get all seven comes down to three things: clean lashes, no oil, and how you sleep.

The honest answer: our self-adhesive clusters are made to last up to 7 days, and most people get somewhere between 5 and 7. The gap between those numbers is almost never the cluster. It is what happened before and after it went on. Here is what actually moves the needle.

What shortens the wear

  • Oil. Oil-based makeup remover, face oil, heavy eye cream, even the natural oil on your fingers. Oil is what loosens any lash adhesive, ours included. Keep it away from the lash line and you have solved most of it.
  • Mascara before application. The bond needs a clean natural lash to grip. Mascara leaves a coating, and the cluster sits on the coating instead of the lash.
  • Rubbing. Sleepy eye rubbing, towel drying, pulling at a lash that itches. Pat, never rub.
  • Steam and direct shower pressure. Showering is fine once the set has settled. Standing face-first under a hot shower head every morning is not.

What extends it

  • Clean, dry lashes to start. Cleanse with an oil-free cleanser, let them dry fully, then apply. This one step is worth more than every other tip combined.
  • Press for a few seconds. The Kinetic Bond layer sets with light pressure and body heat. Pinching the cluster and your natural lashes together for a moment is what locks it in.
  • Place under, not on. Our clusters are made to sit under your natural lashes. The base sits against the underside of your lashes, a hair away from the skin. Under-lash placement holds longer and looks more like extensions.
  • Oil-free everything. Cleanser, remover, eye cream. If you would not put it on lash extensions, do not put it on clusters.

Sleeping in them

You can sleep in them. If you are a side sleeper and wake up with a cluster off center, a light press in the morning usually resets it, and a lifted cluster can be pressed back the same way. When a cluster has been on for a week and starts to lift at the edge, that is the set telling you it is done.

When to swap the set

Around day 7, or whenever a couple of clusters have lifted and pressing no longer helps. Lift each cluster from the outer corner and peel slowly, or use a drop of our Lash Clusters Remover to dissolve the bond so they slide off. A 40-cluster box gives you several sets, so a weekly refresh works out to about a month of lashes per box.
